Been a while ...

It's been a while and I got lazy and didn't use my computer at all for days.Here is how I have been doing:
May 21 weighed in at 253lbs. biked just 2 miles..Butt hurting bumps on it from biking. gonna not wear biker shorts anymore.
May 22 weighed at 253 again. Exercise walked 1 hour. Taking break from walking.
May 23 weighed at 253lbs. again. Probably because not as much exercise. Exercise=1 hour walk.
May 24 weighed in at 252.5lbs! lost 1/2 lb! Exercise walked about 2.5 miles.
May 25 weighed in at 253.5 lbs. gained 1 lb. probably not enough exerce. Exercise:1 hour walk and floor exercises with 15lb weights. I sneaked and got double cheeseburger and a cone ice cream at McDonalds at 2pm after lunch I was hungry!
May 26 weighed in at 254.5! 1 lb gained due to Mcdonalds had to be dammit! Exercise i walked for 1 hour.

biked 6 miles, lost 2.5 lbs!

I biked 6 miloes today,feeling less depressed. Hey I weighed myself this am I am 254.00 lbs! that's 2.5lbs less than last time I weighed in!

may 18 walked 6 miles and did floor exercises!

may 18,I walked 6 miles,toughest walk i ever had feeling depressed. I still did floor exercises! forgot to weigh myself today.

weight stayed same did 1/2 hour on treadmill

My weight plateued today. I am only going to check my weight once a week starting today. I did treadmill one half hour and I sweated soooooo much! coool. I am a little depressed so I chose to not do any more exercises till tomorrow.

Did treadmill 1/2 hour 2.5speed. Lost another 1/2 lb!

I lost 1/2lb again today whooooahhhyeaaah!
I wasn't gonna workout bu!t I did the treadmill 2.5 speed for 1/2 hour and amazingly sweated more than when I bike or walked. Amazing! That's right Biggest Loser uses treadmill a lot. Probably due to constant speed it works good. Cool. I did eat at McDonalds for breakfast and Chipotle for lunch  and had breakfast for dinner. We'll see if I lost any pounds..

BIKED 4 MILES TODAY AND DID FLOOR EXERCISES LOST 1/2 LB!

I had my daughter with me today so I didn't bike as much only 4 miles. I did do the floor exercises with the 15 lb. weights. I lost 1/2 lb! I felt great!

I biked 8 miles today gear 6 and I pushed it!Gained 2 1/2 lbs because I ate too much calories.

I finished biking 8 miles today in 6 gear and I pushed it too! I did gain 2 1/2 lbs. only because I ate too much almost another full meal yesterday and I did a food taste test for $25. Spaghetti and sauce x 4 samples. I had fried fish and bbq chicken for dinner with rice and macaroni salad from Hawaiian BBQ. too much food. I haven't been used to eating so much lately. Hopefully I will lose it over next week or so. I feel great though for the most part and I am really getting fit!

I BIKED 8 MILES TODAY! AND I DID FLOOR EXERCISES WITH MORE REPS!

I reached the 8 mile mark on my bike riding today! I also after did my floor exercises and increased in some areas reps! my weight unfortunately has plateued at 255lbs. I got to lose more weight somehow, so my strategy may change. Oh, I bought 2 exercise videos from Walmart from Biggest Loser trainer people, One on Sculpting and the other on Cardio workout! Cool! I can't wait to try them. below is what i did on floor exercises today. Thanks.
1. Push ups-30! 10 more than before!
2. Sit up ab machine: 80. 30 more than before, go Joel!
3. Leg lifts. 50
4. Chin exercises :100
5. 15 lb Dumbbell lifts: 50.
6.; Squats with 15 lb weights: 40. 20 more than before!
7. Bench press with 15lb dubbell weights; 30
8. Tricep lifts with 15lb weights: 10

Biked 6 miles today in wind gear 5,wt. stayed same maybe buildt muscle.

Biked 6 miles today in wind, gear 5! My weight was same today but my mom says I buildt muscle from doing floor exercises. Maybe. Anyway in about 1 week I am only going to weigh myself once a week, not to be so anal about my weight. I did do 25 squats today per a friend of mine rooting me on to stretch my quad muscles. I did it with the 15 lb. weights. cool!

May 11 I biked 6 miles today, officially lost 17 lbs to date, I started incorporating floor exercises with 15lb. dumbbells!

Officially lost 17lbs today after losing 1/2 lb in 1 day. I used to be 272lbs or bigger and now I am 255!
I biked in early am no wind thank God. 6 miles on gear 6! I usually bike gear 4 or 5. So I moving to harder more workout levels. I looked up some floor exercises online and added some of my own and I just did 8 exercises with 15lb weights utilized in some of them!
1. Push Ups-girl kind-sorry couldn't do boy ones yet, that's to come: 20 reps.
2. Sit up Ab machine-50 reps.
3. Leg Lifts-50 reps.
4. Chin exercises-100 reps!
5. 15lb Dumbbell arms -50 reps!
6.quad Squats 15lb-20 reps.
7. Bench press Dumbbell 15lb-30 reps!
8. Triceps 15lb-10 reps!

Go out there and exercise people, if I can do it anyone can!

May 10 Biked in strong wind and rain 6 miles. Weight stayed same,better than up!

I biked today for 6 miles, terrible head wind any way I turned!Rained on me to, but I made it before big cloudbursts! I weighed myself and I plateued just for today. Better than going up, I was worried,  i had ice cream two large scoops for mothers day with my mom and dad. My diet book does say to splurge 1 day a week so body doesn't think its starving and then you will continue to lose weight because you are telling your body there is plenty of food around.

Exercised on bike and lost 1/2 lb today!

I rode 6 miles around mobile home park today with a strong headwind too! Oh, I weighed myself today and I lost 1/2 lb!Cool!
I ate 2 scoops ice cream and chinese food today for Mother's day. We'll see if I gain any weight, I am not going to have any dinner and I had not too big breakfast just cereal and toast.

just BIKED 6 MILES ON TOUGHER GEAR!

I just biked 6 miles around our mobile home park! I even did it in gear 6 the whole time! It was sure more of a workout than when I went six miles in gear 3. Good to know. My mom told me so. Even my arms and abs got a little workout. It was windy most of time so that gave me more resistance to fight against. I am finally enjoying exercise again in my life, last time this happened was when I did the Honolulu marathon, almost 11 + years ago, amazing!

I GOT 2 NEW BLISTERS ON MY FEET, ONE REALLY PAINFUL ONE I CAN'T EVEN POP ON MY RIGHT FOOT BELOW MY BIG TOE, OUCH!!! SO I PLAN ON BIKING FOR A WEEK OR SO INSTEAD OF WALKING. THAT TWO AND A HALF POUNDS IS VERY ENCOURAGING THOUGH. COOL!

LOST THE HALF POUND I GAINED YESTERDAY AND I WALKED 6 MILES

I Weighed myself today and I lost the 1/2 pound I gained from eating those cupcakes and not exercising enough. I walked the loop twice at San Leandro Marina which is 6 miles! I in addition to that carried 2lb. each hand weights that I bought from Walmart. My hiking friend recommended I get a pair. It worked awesomely! I felt sore in my arms, shoulders and stomach muscles. I am really feeling great like I am losing weight and getting healthy and fit. Can't beat this feeling! I am keeping my calorie intake which i am tracking daily under 2,500 for the most part. I just may lose all this weight that I have gained over the 10 years I was married and after the weight I put on by being unemployed and inactive. Cool huh?!

BIKED THE SAN LEANDRO MARINA LOOP TWICE-6 MILES

I BIKED YESTERDAY 6 MILES AT SAN LEANDRO MARINA LOOP! IT FELT GREAT AND NOT MUCH WIND EITHER EXCEPT ON MY BACK COMING HOME.
I GAINED 1/2 POUND BECAUSE I DIDN'T EXERCISE MUCH ON WEDNESDAY AND WE HAD A PARTY AT CHURCH AND I ATE 2 CUPCAKES AFTER DINNER.
OH, WELL I WILL LOSE THIS EXCESS WEIGHT AS I WORK ON IT.

I walked 3 miles with friends in Berkeley

I walked 3 miles with friends of mine today in Berkeley. We had fun talking , walking and sitting in Berkeley. My blisters hurt a bit from the walking. I hope to still lose a Little weight tomorrow because I'm being careful what I eat, although there is a party Dinner at church and I have to bring desert. It should be good. I will try not to eat too much. I plan on biking tomorrow.CIAO!

I LOST 1.5 LBS IN 1 DAY!!!

I weighed myself today and i weigh 258.50lbs! That's 1.5 lbs lost in 1 day. Yesterdays workout and diet helped!
I'm so excited my #'s are going down not up.

5 mile hike

I completed a 5 mile hike with my new hiking friend.I did get winded on the steep hills and had to stop a few times.I have blisters on both my feet too.i soaked my feet when i got home.took nap too.lost 1/2 lb. In one day today!i am excited!

JUST WALKED 5 MILES

WHEH, I'M TIRED! JUST WALKED 5 MILES OUT AT SAN LEANDRO MARINA. I FEEL GREAT!
i MAY GO HANG OUT WITH SOME FRIENDS OF MINE AND WALK SOME MORE.

I LOST SOME SIGNIFICANT WEIGHT OVER JUST 1 WEEK FROM DIET AND EXERCISE!!!

I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I LOST SOME SIGNIFICANT WEIGHT AFTER 1 WEEK OF CAREFUL DIET AND EXERCISE DAILY. MOSTLY WALKING BUT A LITTLE BIKING.


I STARTED OUT AT DOCTORS OFFICE I WEIGHED MOST I EVER WAS 272 LBS.


NOW I WEIGHT 260.50 LBS. THAT IS ALMOST 12 LBS LOST IN ABOUT A WEEK!!!!


THIS JUST MADE MY DAY, NOW I AM GOING TO GO OUT AND EXERCISE SOME MORE OF THIS WEIGHT OFF!

Today I walked home from church 2 miles! better than nothing.

Today I walked home from church tonight. I bought two small notepads for me to start a food journal of what I eat and an exercise journal of how much I walk,bike,etc. Then I am going to put all the data on an MS Excel spreadsheet and track my progress. Oh yeah, I am going to track my weight daily too!
So I walked 2miles from my church to my house tonight and I passed up temptation of McDonalds burgers and home run pies at CVS Pharmacy, I didn't even get my fat-free mango smoothie at Jack in the Box, I did great!
I may just ban eating any fast food from now on, we'll see.
I'm proud of myself and so is my Mom for walking home.
WORST THING HAPPEENED  ..... I almost CRAPPED my pants I had to go #2 so badly, but I prayed to GOd to help me and I was able to make it home and even to the toilet before I went. THANK GOD IN HEAVEN. If I had an accident I would have had to call my Mom and Dad and have them come pick me up on my walk. I feel so much better now, and I'm glad this was not the time to share an embarrassing story.

Me and Dad biking. Getting ready for a couple mile bike ride. It's nice to have someone to bike with. I encourage everyone out there to bike all you can and exercise many different ways. Just do it!
