- Get off the subway one stop early and walk the rest of the way
- Set a timer on your watch, phone or computer desktop to get up and walk down the stairs or around the office for 5 minutes every hour
- Take the stairs instead of the elevator
- Pace around while on the phone if possible
- Ask your manager about stand up desks and working sites
